The section produces and sells handicrafts and musical instruments of different types to both the domestic and foreign market. A lot of the products are found in Western Europe, notably Germany, Austria and Denmark. Of late, some of our products are exported to the US, Canada and Australia. We are registered as a Fair Trade dealer and are currently producing fair trade products for Denmark.
Fontonfrom is a set of drums made with African tools from twuneboa enkordua ( a special wood used in making drums in Ghana) and cow skin. The drumming and dancing performed with the fontonfrom shows part of the traditional folk media the Yanaglo Ventures intends maintaining as part of our cultural heritage. It is used to communicate emotions and sentiments during festivals and funerals. Other drums include the gabla, sogbo, kagan, dumdum, dondo, djembe and bogarabu. These are all used for different performances like the agbadza, adzogbo, atsa-gbekor, kpanlogo etc.
There are some handicrafts like the wooden stool, rattles, antique masks which also show the material aspects of our culture.
